Should I Ditch Legendary Leather?

    Well, I'm new (L19), grinded for awhile, got stacks on stacks of emeralds, and now got my hands on a piece of flawed gold pants (+44 hp) and my normal pants are called "Darkiron Scrap"- +20 hp, +2 hp regen, -4% walk speed, +5 defence. I'm not sure what to do... it's gold after all... but...

    99% sure if the armor is better vanilla wise (e.g gold beats leather) it doesn't make you take less damage
    whichever one you think has better stats, really

    I wouldn't think that more than 24 hp less for +2 hp regen, slower walk speed and 5 defense would be something to switch. In my opinion you should either sell them (because they're legendary, so they have higher value) or keep them just in case.

    Legendaries are always better than normal items.
    In fact, anything is better than a normal item.
    Basic rule of thumb: normal items are crap.
