    I exited the main area of the sandy scandal quest and now i cant get to the source of the explosion part what do i do????

    What do you mean by the main area of the quest? If you're talking about the separate instance where you talk with the merchant on the roof, you should be able to just walk over to the house where the explosion occurred to trigger the next instance.
