Rouge Or Rogue Bandits?

Somewhere in the general environs of Ahmsord is a sign. An interesting sign. I couldn't find the Red Bandits that it speaks of, and I'm wondering if it really refers to Red Bandits, or if it was meant to refer to rogue bandits. You see, rouge is French, meaning "red", and rogue means renegade or deserter. Either way, a bandit is still a bandit, and not to be taken lightly. So, while I am confused as to whether or not the bandits are red, renegades, or both, at least I am back on terra firma, and not getting a nose bleed, high above the abyss.

 

They're red, trust me.

 

So, they were hiding from me? Would that not make them renegade rouge bandits? Or, more succinctly, rogue rouge bandits?
