Rise Of The Quartron Quest Help

Ok, so here's the story. I was doing the quest, everything was fine, but when I got the the bandit mansion, where I beat up the guards. my screen froze and I had a big lag spike, and ended up dying. After going back the mansion, the guards disappeared and I looked through the wiki, after killing the guards I can overcharge the quartz, but since I didn't kill the guards, I cannot overcharge the quartz, so I can't progress. The guards aren't respawning, so what can I do? is this quest a dead end?

 

I haven't done the quest since it was updated, but I'd recommend going through all of the steps that led you to that point in the quest again, which may fix the spawning. You may not be triggering the event that is required for the guards to spawn.

 

There is no way that I've found to progress the quest if you die in the bandit section until a patch for fixing it gets rolled out. Swapping worlds, swapping versions, and replaying the quest up to that point all do not work. I had the same thing happen to me when I definitely did not tab out to look in discord while doing the section and there is no way to trigger either the bandit section again or overcharging the quartz (the latter just seems to be a weird bug separate from the bandit section issue though). The best thing you can do would be reporting it in bug reports so there is a higher chance of it being fixed asap.
