Ring Dropped By A Zombie

I killed a zombie a day ago near Nivla Forset and it dropped a ring. Yes, a ring. It's named Bandit's Ring and it's a set item. Also, is this set new?

 

Bandits set has actually a very old set, but I believe the ring, brace, and necklace are new.

But it was dropped by a mob. Is this normal? Aren't accesories suposed to be found only in chests?

 

I think it might be a bug, I've gotten and see other people get accessories from mob drops

Nope, it's not a bug I don't believe, they're just really rare drops when it comes to mob drops... I've even gotten some while grinding for legendaries in Temple of Legends

 

As he said, it was dropped by a mob for some reason, he didn't find it in a chest....

 

Yes, I've caught a few accessories from mobs!

 

New items (Anarchy, Oyster, etc.) can be dropped by mobs too

 

If you were quoting the first part of my post, I want to say that I as well found it off a mob... in fact, I found it off a level 3 sewer rat in the Decrepit Sewers when I had 0 Loot Bonus, I posted that I found this item on the New 1.15 gear thread, and I don't believe the owner of the thread (can't remember exactly who) has edited the main post to put my picture of it in there.

Yes. Those are only meant to drop from specific mobs, specifically the new bandit camps in the Desert. No idea how they could possibly be dropping from zombies, considering that A) their dropType is NEVER(which means they can only drop from a pre-set chest drop like emeralds) and B) The chests for the zombies around Nivla is miles away from the Bandit chests. No ETA on fix, cause there's nothing wrong with the yml...
