Resource Pack Question

Hey there,
This is my first post so sorry if it is in the wrong section.
I told my friend that I was looking for an RPG server. From playing the tutorial without the pack, I liked the gameplay.
Only one problem.
Whenever I click "yes" to the automagical installation of the pack, it times me out of the server.

Is there a way where I can externally download the pack and load it into my resource pack folder?

I have a related question: I have a friend who has the wynncraft texture pack, if he emailed it to me could I post it here? If not that's fine.

 

You can externally Download it by going into your server-resource-pack folder and changing the text file to a zip file. Add the zip file to your resource pack folder and BA BAAM! Problem solved!
