Recruit a friend does not work?

Ive tried multiple times now to recruit a friend as when she just made her account I tried to recruit her but all I get is shown in the attached msg, I have tried asking around on discord and was told to simply wait for it to activate but it has been almost a week of recruiting her every time we play together (as the invite seems to just cancel given enough time) and still it shows as she is not recruited.

any solutions?
nvm no images for yall the website said I needed 10 posts and I'm not about to spam post 10 times but I will leave my discord so I can send the images if needed
