    I realize that noteblock sounds and boats are currently not working in 1.12. Which MInecraft version is best to play on?

    ...But


    1.8.9 is the best version to play.

    1.11.2 if you want 'Wynn Expansion' mod.

    1.12 has new noteblock sounds. I imagine they changed the names, so the wynnpack's names are obsolete.
