I’ve tested it, you shouldn’t have any trouble soloing most bosses, and Li is also doable if element pots are included

Also, powders on both armor and weapon are pretty much essential, considering how a good part of your damage is going to come from concentration and curse is just too good to be missed out

Your build is decent, though you should focus more on spell damage gear since your spells are a bit lacking and you don't get that much benefit damage wise from other elements.

Thanks to concentration I can get to 10k spins and in wars with war pots I get about ~13k spins and for me that’s enough damage

Well you can get a bigger bang outta your buck if you know what I mean. Especially since you can sacrifice a little bit of your hp and defenses for some damage.

 

Well your totally right, except that would ruins the whole point of rainbow slapping and having 12k hp while holding nirvana

 

It's just that you're not optimizing your build. Sure, your build does accomplish that goal, but it could be even better if you focus more on damage.

 

actual reasons why your build is bad ASIDE from rainbow slap
-low damage - nirvana usually reaches 2k more spins
-too much mana: 12/4 with insane int is a bit too much, you could ditch a bit and still have "infinite" mana

it's pretty alright though just not optimized or extremely creative

 

Jeez, doesn’t mean that there’s a rainbow build you just instinctively have hate on it... now both you two are just proving how I can do more damage if I’m willing to give up on some defense, which honestly ruins the whole point of the build. And it’s not very nice to just name the negatives without looking at it’s positives

 

let's put this in another way:
you don't need that defense, it's like building full tank guardian, there's no point in doing so since you can survive completely fine with semi tank + 13k uppercuts.

you'll have extremely similar survivability with both builds regardless of elemental defense.
in pve, it's much less 150 ele def making a difference - more of whether or not you get one shot by some bs or just instantly murdered by some charge or meteor (you get the point). so, the elemental defense isn't THAT useful in reality.

aside from ele def (which i've adressed), all there really is agi (useful) when compared to my build
-neither build has lifesteal or HPR to combine with vanish and AoR
-both builds have insane mana, resulting in stunlock from spin and multi

you have a positive, but the thing is, it's not as useful of a positive as damage. sadly, the way the game design doesn't support tank roles in 99% of gameplay (healer mages are alright in parties)

as i've said, your build is viable - the problem lies in this:
it's not optimized
it's not the most creative thing made, so there's not much to make up for the unoptimized build
