Music Quizzacious Quills- Lazarus' Theme Thingymabobber Fuck- My First Song

ha HAAAA it sucks, but I had this melody bouncing around in my head and it's just been building up pressure in there so I had to let it out.

A bit repetitive for my tastes, but it's great for what it is. I must say the bar at 0:28 was my favourite part, it's just yeEESSSSSSSS

Ironically that's the part that I most considered cutting out because I have those types of melodies pop up in my head all the time so they seem mediocre and cliché to me. Also I was inspired by mostly video game soundtracks, which are repetitive as fuck. For example, Megalovania and ASGORE from Undertale and Graze the Roof from PvZ are major inspirations, as in individual songs. I just love the soundtracks to those, especially the third.

I just love the triplet behind the melody of the song at the 4th measure of the phrase.
I'm just bullshitting musical terms at this point because I only know the hemidemisemiquaver

 

Well we're kind of on the same boat, I might write music but I can't read treble clef. I don't know how to identify a key and I just learned what a suspended chord was like a week ago. All I know is how to read and play Tuba music and "does this sound good."

 

Joke's on you, I can read the Treble clef! Fuckin tuba pleb, I'm a saxophone! I know all the clefs, except the ones that aren't the treble clef!
And I can't write music to save my life. I can read it to varying degrees of success, but writing it is impossible for me. I don't remember notes, I remember melodies. Which is probably the same reason why I kicked ass in Geometry but nearly failed Algebra.

 

How I read music:
Alright, I know from the bottom of the bass clef to five ledger lines below because that's where all my music is usually written...

Fuck there's some notes on the staff
Here's Low F.
Here's F.
Here's High F.
Here's D, on the middle line, then C, then Bb...
and whatever the hell the other notes are I know how they sound but not the names of them

...Okay I can do this let's just play.

 

I personally have a problem with the whole reading syncopation thing because I only read the note placement and the shit around the staff and I mess up catastrophically

 

Is not shit, is really a good music, probably can be for a epic final battle for some sea boss ;)
