    Do you need to have the Rusted Lab key in order to enter Mehme's room if another player has one? I lost mine and I am not sure if I want to go and get a new one.

    As far as I know the rusted key is not required to enter Mehme's room. Upon entering the room in Lab N with the key item, you get a chat message saying "Permissions updated". This text means you have completed the Lab N part of the quest and can go to the final part.

    Of course, this thread was posted on the 25th of September, so I'm not sure if you already finished the quest or not.
