questions regarding 2.0 archer

so uhh i have a few questions abt archer. pls help.

1. is crespecular ray bad
2. does phantom ray or arrow hurricane do more dps

Think it depends.

1) Crep Ray is not bad but you are susceptible to getting hit by projectiles a lot easier since your flight speed is kinda slow. Damage wise it's not terrible

2) Arrow Hurricane relies on you landing every single arrow, where as Phantom Ray is a condensed beam that's much easier to land all your hits. Furthermore, Decimator increases the damage (I believe it is bugged as of now however). Focus will also substantially increase the damage of Phantom Ray, so overall Phantom Ray will typically be dishing out more damage than Arrow Hurricane as long as you have Focus built up

 

tysm but does crep ray do more dps than phantom ray? also if phantom ray does more dps than arrow storm, then does that mean that sharpshooter would do more dps than boltslinger?

also this is a bit off topic but do different pets do different amounts of dmg? and how much of your dps do they do per hit?

 

1) Crep Ray technically does more damage than Phantom Ray, but Phantom Ray you can cast repeatedly so frequent casts could potentially deal more damage than Crep Ray. Also Crep Ray drains all of your focus

2) Sharpshooter typically does deal more damage than Boltslinger due to Focus, but you need to have that sitting at 7/7 as much as possible to achieve that damage. Missing any attacks will make you lose all Focus which will hurt your DPS a lot

3) Pets do the same amount of damage if they're level 20+, but I'm not sure exactly how much damage they deal (it's not too significant), but I believe it is a static amount and not dependent on your DPS
