Question about damage mechanic

Hi, how does main attack neutral damage work?
And more specifically, is it an important stat on scarlet veil when considering how it works?

 

main attack neutral dmg is a raw melee stats that adds a flat amount to the damage of main attacks.
this is a important stats for scarlet but main attack% is more important
try to get some exploding (100%+ is prefer but some also works) for a chance for explosive impact to trigger
"Explosive Impact: Your "Exploding" ID can trigger whet hitting mobs with your basic attack"

 

is main atk damage affected by main atk % or is it just flat? If I have like +400 main atk neutral it always add +400 neutral damage to each hit I do, or is it scaled in some way to be greater than the base value given by my gear?

 

i dont think it gets scaled by the gear, it just adds a flat amount afaik
