Question About Crafting Professions.

Before I start, this is not a question about whether or not it is worth doing professions. I've been on the discord and I'm approx lvl 70 on shaman in wynncraft. (Not too experienced, but not very new either).

The question is about the differences between the professions and the reason behind/use of them. The main focus of this question is especially about the three consumable crafting types: as in Cooking, Alchemy, and Scribing.

Now I know that certain ingreds can only be used with one type and that different mats are needed, but is there really a big difference in the use of the three? Is there a different use for alchemy compared to scribing? Do the cooldowns transfer over? These are the types of questions I want answered.

 

Cooking: long duration, weak effects
Scribing: Mid duration and effects, affects everyone in ~7 block radium
Alchemism: Short duration, strong effects

They are 3 separate thing, meaning you can have active e.g. both scroll and food

 

Ah so Cooking is when you want something for a long time e.g. xp bonus? Scribing is when you want a battle effect/group buff as it affects more people? Alchemy is if you want a large personal buff for a boss or smth?

I think xp potions are used for dungeons a lot too, cuz you can drink them right at the end for a massive xp boost
