Question About Assassin

I've been playing assassin a lot recently, and I managed to get mine to lv 36. I'm really confused as to when someone would want to use Multi-Hit. It just seems so much worse than both Spin Attack and Smoke Bomb. Spin Attack does more, and is aoe for a lot less mana, while smoke bomb is ranged, is aoe, and costs a little bit less. I guess the reason to use it over Spin Attack is that Spin Attack blows enemies away, but its crowd control, whereas Multi-Hit only hits one target. Is Multi-Hit useless, or is there something big I'm missing?

 

It used to be the best damage dealing move, but it got waaaaaay overnerfed in the Gavel update.

 

Multi hit used to be that spell where it practically obliterates any sort of mob that stands in it. It got drastically nerfed post gavel update.

 

I remember when I was a nub... wait never mind I don't.

 

it deals more damage than spin attack
it can hit multiple targets
and at lvl 40-50 something you get the upgrade "force" which makes you able to control where your enemies fly , amazing for crowd control and to knock enemies into lava/void

 

It use to do insane amounts of damage but i guess it got nerved (rip)

 

Rip I heard that assassin has been getting nerfed a lot lately.

 

I got all the way up to death before gavel with the assassin now I can't even get to 3 levels with a single life......

 

Assassin/Ninja was considered a broken class with Multi-Hit. Now since it's nerfed, it deals less damage than spin attack and smoke bombs. Pretty much, it's the weakest spell, starting at level 66 due to Smoke Bomb having 3 smoke bombs and lasting 5 seconds. Now it does like 180% damage per (half?) second, which it does like %900 in total (%1800?)? idk. I'm not really sure.
