Quest/mini-quest/event Bug?

So I reached this place on the map out of curiosity and I got into a defense event, after which I was supposed to walk into the fort and talk to an NPC, I timed out and once I came back and walked in, the NPC did not spawn again.

I tried relogging, changing worlds and going out of the render distance for a good 20 minutes then coming back. Nothing worked. The event doesn't trigger again so I don't know exactly what to do in this situation

That's a world event! They happen around the map to make it feel more alive, here's a list of them https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/World_Events
Also, they only happen once, which is why your NPC disappeared.

 

Thank you :) I didn't know about these since it's been like 4 years since I last played and I just restarted so I only remember the more action packed stuff haha
