Quest bug?

Sorry if I'm breaking any rules, but I can't post a reply to the quest bug thread. I think I found a bug in the quest WynnExcavation Site B. In the room with the purple crystal, the purple crystal shards kept spawning, and I was able to get 10+ of them. The end of the quest didn't get rid of all of them, so now I have 19 stacked ones and 1 that's from the quest (the NPC at the end). I'm not sure whether this impacts future quests, does anyone have any more information about this?

 

firstly, for the bug report, you're not meant to directly post a reply but rather select "report a bug" near the top right and then choose which thread to put it in in one of the options in the ticket, would it still not let you do that?
and secondly, about the crystal shards themselves, many are meant to spawn just so you dont miss them, but only the one you get at the end does anything (is required to start the next wynnex quest), you can just toss the rest
