SPOILER Psa: Re-id Your Clock Boots And Royal Stormys While You Can!

Quite a bit of the servers have been restarted, so this might not be a very good PSA but...
REid any of the things sold by merchants right away on a server such as server 1!
Once the servers restart, you can no longer re-ID those items again.

 

That's because you're not supposed to re-ID them. There's a reason why we are fixing it.

 

In other words, don't actually do this and don't abuse the glitch.

All the items from the shops are supposed to be pre-IDed, rerolling them is glitch abuse along with it gives an unfair advantage.

what if someone already owns clock boots or royal amulets re id'd can we keep them but not sell them (the counter makes it clear to any buyers)

 

I'm pretty sure anything pre-ided that was re-ided will stay the same. They did it before it got patched. Before it re-id was a thing people already got 2/4 royals and tier 2 clock boots so..

If that is going to be the case, can you wipe the IDs on them back to the default? We don't need 2/4s going around the market for 3 stacks of le. It's been shown that IDs can be changed on existing items, why not revert those that have been changed?

Also, now the quest item from Elemental Exercise can't be IDed at all.

I thought that "we are fixing it." included the ID wipe but if it doesn't then you have my support, unless however, wasn't there a way to get a legit one too?

Editing: So yeah, according to Xavier there was a way to get them, however I think there could be a way to get them separated.

The price of items vary on demand, the increase in number of 2/4s Royal Stormy Amulets would deflate its prices. No one will buy it for even 2 stacks anymore.
