Provinces

So, I have been looking around and been thinking recently about all of the provinces in the MMORPG (Can't jsut call it wynncraft, that isn't the only province) we all know and love. The 1st Province we set foot in is Fruma. Next is wynn, then Gavel. That is all that is the only places we can go at the moment. But, i have discovered a few more. Corkus. This province is west of the ocean, you can explore only a faction of it, further on, you can find the gateway to Fruma, obviously you can't go in. Then to the South of Detlas, there is the gateway to Dern. As far as i know, The gateway to Dern has always been there (I haven't been there after the wynncraft 1.12 update, so not sure if it is still there) So there are 5 known provinces
Fruma
Wynn
Gavel
Corkus
Dern

What is your thoughts on this? Do you all agree? Let me know if you find any more provinces

 

Corkus isn't a province and I think that Dern is a realm.

 

1. We don't go to Fruma first, that's just where the player characters are from. While the tutorial strictly isn't in Wynn, it's also not in Fruma either.
2. There is no gateway to Dern to the east of Detlas. East of Detlas, you have the towns of Almuj, Ternaves, and Rymek.
3. Dern isn't really a province. Dern is more of a dimension
4. Corkus isn't west of the ocean. It's in the west part of the ocean, but it is an island after all.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation in this post. Just helping to clear it up

Since it's Ragni Outskirts, I'm fairly certain it is part of Wynn.

Everything else is true, though most refer to Dern as a "realm," like the Light Realm, as opposed to dimension.

You didn't discover any of these. We've known about every one of these for over a year, via official statements, though Corkus was only more recently confirmed. Nobody "discovered" the provinces.

There's no Dern portal south of Detlas either. Or anywhere, for that matter, except perhaps the end portal, which I believe was removed.

 

When you enter Ragni Castle, it says "You are now entering the Wynn Province." That's why I assumed that the tutorial area was outside of Wynn.

And dimension, realm, same thing

It has been rumoured that the entrance to Dern was in the abandoned mines south of Detlas, so it's a possibility. A highly unlikely one, but stil a possibility

 

Strange, since it was once referred to as Ragni Outskirts officially, and lore-wise is the path after the secret exit from Fruma. Either way, you don't start in fruma, so sure.

Rumoured, yes, but actually there, no. We know it exists, but that's mostly it.

 

Like I said, it's highly unlikely. But who knows, the portal could be in the rat cave in thieving rodents for all we know

 

I thought it displayed the "You are now entering the Wynn Province" message somewhere a very short walk down the road from the caravan.

 

Like I said, at Ragni Castle it says that you are entering the Wynn Province. Though I can see where people might confuse the passage with Wynn

 

nope, it says it at the gate as soon as you spawn in

Really, that passage is barely Wynn anyways

 

I thought the player technically visits Dern during the quest Fantastic Voyage. Everything from the mysterious portals, dark beings and environment, and Bobs tent and unfinished letter show that it has to be Dern. Heck, you even come out of a portal that is in the Abandoned Mines that was hinted in the lore.

It's still here with a puzzle (We still don't know if someone hace found how to end this puzzle).

Corkus is not a province, they want to be recognize as a province but it's not the case actually.

Dern is not a province, it's a "Dark World in which nobody live", a province would have people who live in it, it's not the case of Dern from what we know actually.

Dern isn't confirmed as a province, realm or dimension. It is described as a far-off dark land.
