like i commonly say-
it takes skill to realize how little skill it takes to play shaman
meaning it still is a skill-based class

 

I've played shaman and ankarins right its pretty easy, and it doesn't help that those relic beam thingies go through walls and mobs (cough cough decrepit sewers boss fight nerf cough cough)

 

Bro you created the class this is a conflict of interest.

 

in all seriousness it’s the hardest class from a new player’s perspective

your spells hinge on the totem and that’s very possible to mess up and die
versus other classes like assassin where you can just rrr or arrow shield etc

 

Shaman has a high skill floor and moderately low skill ceiling (probably below all except Mage).

 

You need to be at least somewhat tactical with mage, somehow stopping enemies from running away from the meteor.

 

Shaman is harder to learn than other classes but when you understand how it works it’s the most OP class

But... literally every mage’s spell cycle is just meteor - ice snake - meteor - ice snake

for that very reason
