Pre Gavel Armour

I've just got back to the game after a couple years and relished I have a price of armour in my bank that has no special elements on it just"51 Def" it used to be worth a decent amount and now I'm not sure what to do with it .
Should I throw it out ? (If I do I'll be sad because that's a waste of about 32 EB)
Is it an illegal item ?
Can I sell it ?

Anyway any help will be much appreciated,

Selling it is indeed illegal, but keeping it as a token is fine

 

What armour piece is it? You're not allowed to sell it but if we don't know what the piece is we can't try to fix it potentially.

Helmet I think it's called pìor or something similar I will respond with the exact name next time I'm at my pc

 

You should keep it, if they will fix it, you will get a decent loot bonus helmet
