SPOILER Powder Theories

okay so we know that there are going to be more powders. so I was thinking and I think that there is going to be 1 powder for every element. Because on the skill point screen for instance the thunder logo is yellow and there is yellow powder now so I came up with this

red powder=fire element
green powder=earth element
blue powder=water element
white powder=air element
yellow powder=thunder element

Let me know if I've missed anything.

I meant if when you used for instance red powder it boosted your fire damage

 

It's already confirmed that it does this.

Y'know, it's not a theory if it's a confirmed set of facts...

 

the question remains tho
what will powders for each element do
will they give more skill points on the said element
will they give you more defense/damage for that element
or will they give you something diffrent that fits with the element's description

I beleive it will be like before, if its applied to armor it gives defence and if its applied to a weapon it gives damage. Otherwise why would Some weapons have %dmg increase for elements it doesn't contain?

 

It better be damage/defense. Items like lunar spine - which takes agility, buffs air damage and decreases water damage despite it only having neutral and water damage - would make no sense if powders gave an agility bonus or walk speed bonus.
The empire builder - with next to no damage and only a few skill point stats in IDs, would be useless as well if powders didn't give damage.
The Qira weapons are also underwhelming... unless those 5 slots for powders actually mean something.

So an added damage/defense to a certain element would make the most sense.
