What do you think is your favorite build?

  1. Poison

  2. Life Steal

  3. Explosions

  4. Spell Spam (mana regen + maybe mana steal)

  5. Fast Attack(Walk speed+tier attack speed)(IDK if this is exactly a thing but it might be)

  6. Thorns+Reflection

  7. Elemental Build (Elemental Defense+Offense)

  8. Healing (Life Steal+Health Regen+Tons of Health)(Uh, IDK, Wolverine or Deadpool Build?)

  9. A mix of any of the above

  10. Other (Because I might be missing some which is possible)

Alright, another thing that I'm curious about. This isn't going to be specific items but more or less builds centered around specific affects like poison, spell spam, etc. For me, IDK right now but I can see every type of build being fun.

People usually group builds in 3 letter "Tri's", or just using the playstyle in general, here's a list:

TWA (Usually high damage spellspam/mixed mana, slightly glassy)
    ETW (Very glassy spellspam/hybrid)
    WFA (Hyperdefensive spellspam)
TFA (No int spell/melee, usually tanky)
    TWF (Usually slightly tanky spellsteal)
EWA (Can usually use both spells and melee)
EWF (Usually spellspam slightly more tanky than TWF in some cases)
ETF (Heavy melee/cancelstack usually, mostly melee, sometimes spell)
ETA (Glassy tierstack/cancelstack, mostly melee, sometimes spell)

There's also Quad builds, which are usually just a few items from four different elements put together, they can include many playstyles as they aren't tied to one specific tri:

    ETFA (ETF, TFA, ETA, EFA)
    ETWF (ETW, TWF, ETF, EWF)
    ETWA (ETW, TWA, ETA, EWA)
    TWFA (TWA, TWF, WFA, TFA)
    EWFA (EWF, WFA, EFA. EWA)

And just include rainbow just cause, rainbow is usually spellspam (sometimes tierstack in select cases), can deal a lotta damage but might get walled by elemental defenses on mobs.

Some of the words I used here just incase:

Spellspam = Using a combo of low spellcosts and mana regen to spam your spells
Hybrid = An umbrella term for builds that make use of both melee and spell
Mixed mana = Builds that use both mana steal and mana regen, either to support eachother, or to get more sustain
    Hyperdefensive = Really tanky
Spellsteal = Slow attack speeds that use mana steal (Procs on using your main attack every ~4 seconds), a type of hybrid
True hybrid = Your spells and melee do the same damage
Fast hybrid = Same as true hybrid, but you have a faster attack speed
Heavy hybrid = Same as true hybrid, but with slower attack speeds
Cancelstack = Using a piece of armour with a lot of negative attack speed (Shaggy Boots), with gear with a lot of +attack speed (Necrosis), this works because main attack% doesn't affect main attack neutral damage
Tierstack = Taking a super slow weapon (Alkatraz), and using +tier items to make it faster
Heavy melee = Stacking a lot of armours with +Main attack neutral damage (Blind Thrust, Dawnbreak, Taurus), and using the quake powder special to get massive damage

This list is mostly accurate but I'd just like to say poison usually falls under ETF, and EWA doesn't really get too much support for it besides Galleon and maybe Grimtrap

For assassin I would say ETF heavy melee is pretty good cause it's cheap and effective, being able to solo every fight. Of course spellsteal builds perform well too.
I can't say much for other classes as I don't play them so whatever's next isn't the most accurate.
Archer: penta-elemental spell spam with nighthawk and freedom
Shaman: Any spellspam but don't use spellsteal as your melee's have a third of the chance to trigger steals (it's the same if you hit all 3 beams)
Mage: Any build that can cast spells
    Warrior: idk guardian or something

Actually it's also Heavy melee, because Warrior truly is just a worse assassin right now

Yeah I don't touch warrior but I figured it was maybe some form of melee seeing as warriors spells work against warrior.

This is just a personal opinion, probably biased towards what I have fun playing with

    Assassin: Spellsteal / Heavy Hybrid
    Archer: Nhawk + Draoi Spellspam
    Mage: Spellspam or Heavy Hybrid
Warrior: Spellspam or Heavy Hybrid (NOT spellsteal)
    Shaman: Spellspam
