Moved to class builds. Please state what level you intend to make the build. Additionally giving them a lead, like for example telling them what weapon you would like to use, will make it tremendously easier for the community to help you.

The water, thunder, and air things are damages that can be added on to your neutral. (Note: I’ll be talking about thunder damage a lot, but this applies to all elements [except for the spin attack part])

If your weapon does 3 neutral damage and 2 thunder damage, then it does 5 total damage. Additionally, spells do some elemental damage. (Spin Attack for example automatically takes some neutral damage you do and converts it into thunder damage).

However, there is also something like Thunder Damage%. This will boost (or lower if negative) you thunder damage ONLY.

There is also thunder defense (on armor), which blocks some thunder damage. Thunder defense% boosts or reduces your thunder defense.

There are also thunder powders, which either add thunder defense to your armor or thunder damage to your weapon.

Most of this is probably also explained in the Powder Manual in Powder Masters’ buildings (like in Nivla or in Detlas).
