SPOILER Piers Morgan The Mad Scientist?

So while strolling through troms looking for my favorite cake shop, I stumbled across nearly abandoned house that was the lab of a guy named "Piers Morgan". At first I thought it was a rewrite of a body switching quest, but inside was a Honeydew and some signs. For those who don't want to read, it says that Morgan made the Honeydew and then tried to killit because it was "taking all the spotlight". He then found out it could clone and most likely tried to kill it. There is also a machine next to the Honeydew (Prob what made it).

Its pretty obvious Piers is a scientist and is probably evil but is he in some kind of wynn lore? There doesn't seem to be any proof that he is dead, but he obviously isn't at the house anymore.

Did he go out to make a bigger lab to make a monster honeydew?
Did the Honeydew kill him?

Piers Morgan was a top secret lab owned by an eccentric Melon scientist, Professor Djemble.

In the map update, he was killed by his rival, Professor DePumbly, but it turns out that Djemble had cloned himself. However, DePumbly's experiments seem to have not been very profitable, since the place is condemned...
