Petition to have another dialogue competition

A few years back, a competition to write original dialogue for the Seaskipper was held by Wynncraft staff. As somebody who wrote for it (cough cough and won cough cough), I would really like to see another one of these. Perhaps a talking mushroom or resurrected head contest?

Regardless, I found it really fun and interesting that such a large project was taking fan-made stuff and directly putting it in the game, no matter how small it was. Honestly, for me, it was just really fun getting into the character of this mysterious old man who has ferried people across the ocean for many, many years and also figuring out what fourth-wall-referential stuff I could come up with (as he has been known to do in other dialogue of his).

Seeing as it's almost the 2 year anniversary of this contest, I think it should only make sense that another one of its kind is in order. Hell, you could even make it a yearly thing.

Anyways, these are just a simple bowl of Mac 'N Cheese's thoughts and aspirations.

 

next competition will be for bread enthusiast dialogue (entries must be at minimum 99 lines long)

tbh a bread enthusiast dialogue contest might be funnier.

i would love to see dialogue contests for every character that just rambles about random stuff (mushroom, revan, seaskipper, bread enthusiast, etc)
