How do people do pet repairs?

Hello, is there no one from Dev Team or Mod Team that knows how this works?

 

Devs aren't going to respond to a simple question like this ya know, and mods deal with more serious stuff

 

As said above, you don't really need a dev or mod to respond to this, but since I was checking the section I figured there's no reason not to explain it.

So firstly, you need a pet level of 90 to repair items with them, and 100 to maximize efficiency with it. Since these are both above level 20, you need Champion rank to use it (same with other pet tasks). But the way it works is, you right-click the pet that you want to assign to the task, select repairing in the right side of the menu, and put in the item(s) that you want to repair. The pet should return the repaired item once the given time has finished.



side note: not entirely sure the task actually works, i've heard that one of them is broken and it might be this one

 

But when you repair do you not need scraps? Do pets bypass the scrap requirements for repair?
