i have a pet so why doesn't it attack and im holding a weapon in my hand

    They don't attack anymore since it breaks the EULA.

    Pets are purchased with GC, which are purchased with real money. According to the MC EULA, players cannot purchase advantages over other players using real money. Therefore, using pets to attack, which would give a pet owner an advantage, is not allowed under the EULA.
