The Mines of Sarnfic
This area seems to be a old mine.
It may have been used after the survivors realized their predicament, and decided to mine for resources.
There are many resources in this area, including one of the rare level 4 chests in the small lava cavern.
There is also a easter egg here, hidden behind the lava.
However, i wont show it because i want you to earn it XD.
The Second Half of Sarnfic
At the very end of the Underwater Cave System lies the second half of Sarnfic.
This shows that Sarnfic may have gone down like the Titanic, splitting into 2 parts as the ocean swallowed it whole.
Unfortunately, this part of the town is just as damaged as the first half, meaning that little, if any has survived.
The Shattered House
This house is the most damaged in Sarnfic, with both floors being trashed.
Nothing else of interest remains.
To be honest, i am surprised it is still standing!

The Witherist's House
Seeing the wither skull on the wall, it is safe to assume that a Witherist lived here.
There is a second floor, but it is totaled, and there is nothing of interest on it.
I am not sure who the owner was, but it is possible he may have survived.
However, nobody knows for sure.
The Treasure Guardian Chamber
This is where the treasure guardian is fought, and where the treasure that must be traded for the boots is found.
There seems to be some sort of grave at its end, possibly a important villager or warrior.
Now, time for my theory.
Theory S
I believe it is not the Boots themselves that are evil, but the original wearer.
There are a few reasons why i believe this.
The boots no longer seem to possess dark power, seeing they offer no effects to the person wearing them, as i have tested.
The Mage Council never seemed to discuss where the boots came from, or who made them, other than saying it made from a stone of great evil, possibly a dragon egg.
Finally, there is no record of such dark power existing from the boots other than from the Mages.
If these boots contained dark power, wouldn't more know about them?

Authors Note:
There are only 3 ways i will EVER do a data file on the treasure guardian.
1, he becomes far more interesting.
2, i get payed about 10,000 in cash without doing anything illegal, cruel etc.
3, i get a Pumpkin, Zomble Memory, or Ocean Map for less than a stack of LE.
That is all.
P.S. I totally still stand by this, even though this is a file from years ago.
I still dont like Sarnfic.

Why is Sarnfic even hated on in the first place?

 

It's always been a pain in the ass. To get to, to get out of, to be in. It's also part of one of the most hated quests.

 

not to mention the quality of the builds is bad compared to the rest of the map

 

Im tearing with nostalgia to this pre-gavel theory ;-;

 

I dont think the build is bad, the major issue i have with it is those damn exploding water enemies.
