    are they random? i know boss altars always drop all their rewards from experience but was there a change to this? i beat it and only got the tether to the surface ;_; it only dropped a pair of pants for my friend
    just wondering before i go into the fight again

    It's either random or it depends on how much damage you do. I think it's just random tbh

    im pretty sure i did the most damage to it so id imagine its random then :( thank you though!

    This isn't the case, at least not anymore. I solo boss altars all the time and I don't get the rewards 100% of the time

    Yeah, sometimes when I do Boss Altars I only get Ingredients and not items.

    So I made this thread about this in the beta section

    I've done some testing with the help of a few person, and we've found that to get the armour and weapon drops, you must:
    1. be in a group of 2 or less, we did it in a group of 3 for 8-10 runs and got no armour/weapon rewards, but got the drops a good 80% of the time when we did it in a group of 2 (we did it in a group of 2 5-6 times in total if you're wondering)
    2. must be the last person to hit the boss, otherwise you won't get the drop.

    Okie have fun grinding Zealot now ig
