So i know crystal can give something like 65% reflection or more, idk. but combined with another item giving similar reflection, like this dagger i found with 48% reflection, its possible to have over 100% reflection, in this case 113%. Now, my question is, does this currently work as it would appear, mage pops a 10k meteor, mage takes 11.3k damage? If so, does this mean only melee attacks would work (Unless you get dat 101%+ Thorns)? What would happen if 2 mages with over 100% reflection battle out? does the first one to strike loose? does the lowest damage win? Is there a point to even life anymore? When powders come out would it be viable to only have thorns and reflection as over 100% and just sit in the pvp nether and get all the kills while afking?

I believe you still take damage with thorns and reflection, it just deals that same damage back, and the lercentage is how often it activates. Buuut it might also be what you're thinking, I honestly don't know. All I know is that thorns and reflection don't block damage completely so that afk strategy wouldn't work in pvp. With decent health regen gear it could work in pve though.

Yeah, my point being if 2 people had same hp and one 101% reflection, technically the person with reflection would die last.
