Lore/Story Orienor X The Canyon Colossus

I'm not sorry. (To clarify this a shitpost not canon)

It was a warm day in the canyon, minus the wind. The shattering of stone disrupted the otherwise peaceful day, as a battle between a dogun, a group of humans, and a colossal being was taking place. As the being raised a mighty fist in an attempt to finish this fight, the dogun, whose name was Orienor, let loose a mighty blast of energy directly at the being's head, causing it to fall several stories to the ground, incapacitated. The battle was over, the titan was defeated... or so they thought, as the being rose again, but this time with no malice. It would return to its former state as the canyon's protector.

Shortly after this, Orienor, using the secrets of his people developed a means to communicate with the stone giant. "Thank you... Hot one... For fixing me" the colossus said in a slow deliberate tone. "It was... nothing..." Orienor smiled. The colossus, seeing this small little rock man smile, felt warm inside. It was a good feeling. He liked this little stone man. As he felt warm, he realized he was, quite literally, burning up from a core malfunction. He collapsed to the ground, unable to move and in fear for his animated life.

He awoke several hours later, the dogun making repairs to him. As Orienor noticed he was awake he said "Hello large one... I am... Fixing you... You have.... overheated...". The colossus could not speak but was grateful of all the people to fix him, it was the one who had damaged him in the first place. He laid peacefully, waiting for the dogun to finish his work, relishing the time spent, even in silence. He had grown so accustomed to silence, it only felt natural.

In just another few hours, the colossus was able to speak again. "I... Appreciate the effort... you have put forth..." the stone golem stammered. Orienor simply smiled again, and the colossus felt that warm feeling again, but this time there was no malfunction. Orienor noticed something strange after he smiled, the colossus seemed to have unusually darkened cheeks, which, to his knowledge, there should be no reason for. "Are you... Feeling right..." Orienor asked concerned. "I have... not been better... in a long time..." the colossus nervously replied. "And why.... is that..." Orienor asked, curious as ever. "I... feel strange... tiny dogun... I must rest...".

As the colossus woke up, he found Orienor was still doing repairs. He reached the tiny dogun with his massive arms and gave him the hug of a lifetime. "I feel... for you... tiny stone man..."

The next few pages of the book are torn out, but it is safe to assume given the trend of the writer that's probably for the best
