Optifine making player models one solid color, anyone know a fix?

I've recently been getting back into wynn and im just using some quality of life mods and a resource pack that allows me to see custom models for mythics and other items. Since i refuse to use fabric because thats the only way to use chime instead of optifine, i rely on optifine to make the modified models for the mythics. Every time i use optifine though all of my friends and guild/party members turn up as a giant blob of that color. (Ex: Friend=Bright Green blob) does anyone know why this is happening or is it just a problem with 1.12 optifine?

 

turn off fast render in performance.

 

alright, when i play with my friends tonight i'll see if that fixes it!
