old school project i made on wynncraft

a while ago for a writing project we had to write a story. i did mine on wynncraft lore.
(some parts might be written poorly it was a while ago when i was a little jit)

A brief history of the provinces
The fruma province. Not much is known about fruma other than them being very skilled at magic.the lack of information stems from their border being closed to the public and the only people who cross it are coming out. Those who come out of fruma all have no recollection of anything that happened in fruma. Almost all of them become soldiers in the wynn province typically starting in ragni. The exception is a group of people from fruma somehow climbed the mountains separating fruma and wynn. After crossing the border they had no memory of their time in fruma. They went to colonize the island of corkus from the avos that is now trying to be recognized as its own province. That is pretty much all the information on fruma. Not all will be covered in molten heights, gavel, wynn, and corkus as we know much more about them.

The wynn province. Starting with wynn is the most famous and legendary soldier from there, robert most commonly known as bob. First let's start with bak’al. When the corruption portal first opened in the mining quarry he was one of the first humans to enter however unlike the corrupter of worlds after getting corrupted bak’al retained some form of control over himself and the ability to control corrupteds.he went to terrorize the wynn province being unstoppable by most soldiers.during one of the raids on ragni led by bak’al the citizens of ragni went to hide in the sewers. During one of the raids a baby was born in the sewers. The mom died during it but the baby survived. His name was Robert and later on he would be adopted by someone else. Bob and his mother in law were poor and lived in a small house in the outskirts of ragni. This was often the first place to be hit during the raids. One day Bob returned during a raid, he entered the house and found his mom on the ground with a corrupted attacking her. She herself was now corrupted so Bob had to put her down. After this Bob went to train for 25 years with 5 different masters, one of which being mael twain. Due to a miss handling of documents the reason for Bob's training and how he found the masters is unknown. During his training he would help locals in the various cities in wynn. The locals would start calling him Bob, he liked that name so that's why he is known as bob. After his training he returned to ragni during a raid. Bob confronted bak’al at fought him. Back Al's army was easily defeated and bak’al retreated. All cities in the wynn province were now under protection of bob and bak’al hasn't shown his face until very recently(these reports of bak’al sightings in olux are unconfirmed as of yet). Also the sewers ragni citizens used to hide in during raids were also used as prisons. Those prisons have now fallen into disrepair and are infested with dangerous creatures.another area of the wynn province is the nivla woods, which is home to the city of elkurn. The nivla woods has a very large problem of a spider infestation. There are many spiders you can see every few steps, some spiders can get quite large.another city is nemract, a poor port town that makes money from trade. It is said that nemract whisky is very popular with sailors and anyone who can get some. Close by nemract is ancient nemract which is where nemract used to be. It was destroyed by bak’al during the raids on wynn, and is crawling with corrupteds to this day. It was also destroyed by Charon who leads an army of corrupteds that cannot die. General graken is trying to lead a charge into the underworld to take down Charon.another area in wynn is time valley, it's a valley which has many strange creatures and objects. Some even report dinosaurs in a large cave hidden somewhere in time valley.somewhere in a bridge between time valley and nesaak there is a chamber that has sealed away garoth, a mage that studied forbidden magic. Another area is almuj, a very large desert in the wynn province. It’s home to many places and colonies, one of which is almuj city named after the desert it’s located in. in almuj there is a badland area home to rymek, a poor town down in the bottom of the canyon. Most people in rymek are bandits or thiefs. The king of almuj many years ago had a magical staff that could control sand storms and weather, until his son hashr killed him and took his staff. This caused sand storms to rage all throughout almuj trapping many people under the sands including hashr. The next area we talk about is nesaak, once a normal regien is now covered in ice and snow due to the corruption of theorick. As it turns out the land is almost devoid of corrupted creatures since theoricks magic ice slows corruption to almost a standstill. theorick twain was part of the twain family, marius twain was the founder of twain mansion and the twain family. He adopted kids with high magic potential and trained them to help people across wynn. The kids adopted were (i forgot the name so pretend it's here)who could control fire magic, (name also forgotten)who could control wind magic, theorick who could control ice magic and was said to be able to make true ice and mael who could use his magic to talk to spirits and guide them on. After the death of marius the twain family fell apart a fight broke out between name forgotten 1 and 2 and theorick during the funeral. Mael had to step in and stop the fighting but after this all the twains just went their separate ways and the twain family legacy had ended. Mael was the only one twains that stayed guiding spirits on and helping people but after his death many spirits became restless and infested twain manor. The corruption portal opened up 1000 years ago in the wynn province near deltas. This is the cause of the corruption spreading its roots throughout all of wynn and even bleeding into gavel now too. A large mining quarry was the place the portal opened up and one of the miners stepped into it becoming the first to enter the portal. They were corrupted beyond belief and were granted unimaginable power, however unlike bak’al they didn't retain their continence and are now a mindless brute. They reside deep in a cave inside of the troms jungle and are wreaking havoc on everything around them. After the twains fell apart theorick decided to lead a charge against the portal of corruption. For many years theorick protected nesaak but demanded large sums of money in order to do so. The people of nesaak feared theorick because of his power and needed help so they agreed to pay him regularly for this services. During the charge into the portal theorick was overpowered and slowly corrupted. He tried to protect people from him by freezing the entire area of nesaak and hid himself away in a cave that he froze over.from the freezing nesaak has had no real problems with corruption but the cold still provides problems. One area of nesaak is the great bridge, a large bridge that goes from nesaak to the troms jungle. It is the only known way to get to the troms jungle other than the pathway in the ravine near ragni.However to access the pathway you need to be a citizen of troms which is notorious for being hard to gain citizenship. This is why the great bridge is the better way to cross into the troms jungle, but this is easier said than done because an unknown apparition of corruption often invades the bridge. This thing is seemingly somewhat sentient but not to the degree of bak'al, this thing is very strong and intelligent so only attempt to enter the troms jungle this way if you are well prepared. The city of troms was under attack by creatures a lot and didn't have much to defend themselves, until one day a shaman from the ijobu tribe village. His name was slykaar and he offered to protect them but at the cost of human sacrifices, having no other options the king of troms agreed and slykaar protected troms until Bob came along. Bob offered to protect troms and did not require human sacrifices, the king of troms readily agreed and banished slykaar. To this day slykaar is trapped and sealed in a magic cave but is growing stronger to this day. He has found a very small pocket dimension that he can control and has very strong slime magic and can turn himself into a raging beast of the substance along with many other abilities. In the ijobu village there is a pathway into the dernel jungle which is a more isolated and dangerous area of the troms jungle. It has creatures much more dangerous than in the troms jungle, the dernel jungle was home to a few survivors of the olm race however they went insane and died after they fled here from the silent expanse after its corruption from dern.the silent expance is an extremely hard to enter and hostile place so barely any information is obtainable on and thus will have a very brief section in a future instalment.

A very large area in wynn and gavel provinces in the sea which has many islands with many stories and things to be found. One of which is Skeins island, which is home to skien and his army. Skeins island used to be a prison until Skein went insane and started kidnapping people to put in his prison. He does all manners of abuse to his prisoners and his mental state is said to be completely withered away by now. His army blows up on nearby ships and shoots them down if they survive. Another island is called Galleon's graveyard which is said to be where Galleon, a notorious pirate, died. Many pirates live in the islands in the sea, some of which will try to trick people to rob them or kidnap them. This has been a brief history of the fruma and wynn province. Some parts will have been missed or left out, part 2 will cover the massive expanse of gavel and what little information we have on the silent expance.
