Old Quest Items

Alright, now I don't know if I've been doing things wrong up till this point in the game, but I'm level 60 and over a third of my bank is full of old quest items like yahyah's bowl (from a quest around level 10!) bab's wool and, (insert famous painter villager's name here)'s masterpiece and a bunch of other things. Now, I understand needing to keep a hold of items that will be necessary in future quests, but they can't ALL be necessary. Bob's crushed soul? Probably useful in another quest about Bob. But the mummy's rags? I used those to prove i'd killed it or something like that when I was level 30. What possible reason do I have for keeping this? To my knowledge, none whatsoever. But I CAN'T get rid of it. They can't be sold or even dropped, so its stuck in my inventory forever. Please address this.

Mummy's bandage is used for temple of legends

 

They're working hard in what they do and you, sir, are exactly what demotivates them to try harder. I'd advice you to hold your tongue until they finish the refactoring process.

@BananaManTex Some of the items you've listed are for Temple of Legends and the others are not quest specific items. After you reach level 68, I'm sure your bank will be much better off ^-^

 

dern can easily be put aside for a better bank so wwe dont havve to use other classes for more bank space

 

From what I know, any new addition to the game is currently halted due to the refactoring process. It isn't just the banking system but there are a lot of things that could potentially be added and I'd love to see them be added but we'll have to wait until then.

I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you... The only thing you can really do is just enjoy the game for how it is.

Quick tip: If you ever need to get more bank space, either have a lvl 1 bank class or fill your inventory and throw your useless quest items away.

P.S. Look at the wiki to see which quest items you’ll need later. It’s kinda outdated, but it’s still the best source for quest items. You’ll need Baab’s wool btw for Reincarnation.

Hey!
First of all, people above told you what items were necessary, but however, since you'll still most likely be missing space, here's some tips :
- Create other classes that you won't use just to put your useless items (storage class)
- Look again through every item you have to find is one isn't useless
- Try mixing up items that are taking up space, for example if you have 2 tier 1 fire powder, 1 tier 1 thunder powder, 1 tier 1 water powder and you need higher tier powders, put them together, and get 2 extra bank space!
- I don't know if this is allowed so keep quiet about it, but you can drop your quest items by filling your bank and inventory and taking off a quest item and dropping it, if you need it back just do /fixquests, however, all quest items will come back at the same time!

OKEY LISTEN HERE, there is a way to both get rid of the items... and get them back when u need em.
first have the item in your inentory , then fill every empty space in it and swap the quest item with something else ,then close ur inventory. bscly this makes the item dissapear cause there is no room in ur inventory to come back.
if u ever need it again type /fixquests and any quest item you threw away will come back... just have space in ur inventory when u do this

/fixquests isn't completely reliable I think, so you might lose the item forevrr

It hs hppend to muh tho. I'm level 91 and still haven't completed the quest 'The Lost'. One of the letters must have glitched out of my inventory at some point, as a world reset did happen in the middle of the quest, and I've not been able to complete the quest. Fixquests gave me some ae cantaloupe water (from Lazarus pit iirc) and Maxie's house key, and it was rather annoying as there was a bow that I was looking forward to using but couldn't.

It sounds annoying and would make me angry too but in situations like this, you just gotta grind your teeth and endure my friend *pats shoulder*
