Of The Undead

Us undead are a misunderstood race. People think of us as the killers of Minecraft, and, in part, we are. But each of us has our own story...

Necromancers
Before I explain anything else, I need to tell you about the Necromancers. They're far more common than us, being Witches or Villagers that have died and been reborn in this new state. For the most part, they're a greedy, mean, spiteful lot. Us undead, Nether mobs excluded, are the "tools" they use to kill. Their proper name is "Sorcerers", due to the fact that the magic they possess is that of summoning.

Zombies
are the most common spirit summoned by the Necromancers. This places the zombies under absolute control of the Necromancer who summoned it, much like skeletons. If there's a mistake in this summoning, the most that happens is that the zombie doesn't appear. This leads to a very low amount of free zombies; only the Zombie King, as far as I know, has successfully freed himself without outside help.

Skeletons
are much harder to summon. Magic alone holds us together; else we would be a pile of bones on the floor. A successful summoning gives you a skeleton with an infinite amount of magically generated arrows. Unsuccessful summonings are more common than in zombies, and can have varying effects. Sometimes it's the skeleton of a creature other than the one summoned; sometimes it's a finite amount of arrows; but more often, something goes utterly "wrong", and the skeleton is spawned with it's own mind; that of who it was before it died. Such skeletons; like me and @King Zahr'ghûl, become leaders; harnessing the magic we are spawned with, we may do almost whatever we please. We often mess up other summonings, to free more Undead to help us in our cause, and in this way we become rulers, building an army and empire.

And this, my friends, is exactly what we do. The undead not sustained by magic, such as Zombie Pigmen and Wither Skeletons, are controlled rather than killing on their own.

You realize that summoning is pretty much creation? What I do is overload it and give them their freedom. I don't actually summon them. @King Zahr'ghûl, can you really do that? o.o

Ok what did i learn in conker's bad fur day on how to deal with the undead...
hmmmmm....
