Resource Pack Nostalgic Wynn - Vanilla Textures For Wynncraft! [1.4.1]

Hey all,

so this is a special pack I put together to resemble the vanilla look for Wynncraft. With all the models and stuff, you can't just turn off server resource packs and be good to go. You would need something to replace the weird blocks with real items, and some blocks would still have to be changed in order so make it look right (like the piles of books that you see)

This resource pack does exactly that! Some block models are kept in order to keep the look of Wynn but still look vanilla.

Installation:
Download the pack
Put the .zip file in your resource packs folder
Enable the pack in your resource pack menu
IMPORTANT: Disable server resource packs on Wynncraft in your server list, shown here:

Done!

Warning: There is only one side effect with this, which is that you will constantly get this message, because it thinks you are just using a normal pack.



Versions - Master version 1.4.1
Normal - Keeps some aspects from wynnpack such as biome color
Download Normal (462 KB)

Super Vanilla - Keeps as little aspects from wynnpack such as spikes
Download Super Vanilla (220 KB)

Über Vanilla - Keeps no aspecs from wynnpack and contains only weapon models

Texture packs can still be use in wynncraft? how does it work????

 

They can still be used as long as you disable server resource packs shown in the thread.

Cool! Did you just remove most things in \blockstates & \blocks ?

 

Yes, it is just the wynncraft pack with many models removed and some replaced and most blocks and items textures removed as well, to maintain as much compability as possible.

Edit: I am planning to make a base pack and then have add-ons which allow you to add like only blocks and their models and so on.

 

Glitch:
Double Brick slab has the top texture as the purple-black "minecraft hates you, I don't wanna show dis."
And the oak fence; the main posts have a "Legacy" texture & and the post-connectors have a vanilla textures; It's weird.

 

Changelog for version 1.1:
Removed block models for oak fences, they should now look vanilla.
Fixed an issue where the top for upper brick slabs would have a missing texture.
Removed menu background (more vanilla!)
Removed some files to decrease pack size (originally from vanilla)
Decreased file size (From 3 mb to 949 kb)

Didn't someone already make this right after Gavel was released? Cause I already got a pack that does the same thing from somewhere

 

Now to feel how much this trips up my feeling about the game nostalgia
