[noob] Finding A Mythic In A Loot Chest?

Hey guys (uh oh noob alert)

Lately I have been hunting a ton of loot chests to try to find a Mythic and the most I get is 1 legendary in a day.
First question I have is the chance of getting a Mythic. From what I've heard it's 1/10000 or 0.0001%. That's less than a shiny pokemon chance. Is this true? >.<

By the way, I don't care what mythic I get as long as I physically get one.

Yet, people get mythics every day. Is there a specific way to increase your Mythic loot chance? I know loot bonus affects mob drops, but what about chests?

Also, pretty much all the T3's I open have nothing in them except for a few standards and 1-2 uniques. T1's have been giving all the legendaries. And T4's... from what my experience with them was, they only had about 20 emeralds in them.

Does it really take that long to get a mythic and other people are just lucky? Or will I never get a mythic. Ever.

the chance is actually a 0.0007% chance, or a 1/142857 chance

 

It's 0.0007% for it to drop, I believe.

It's just plain luck, or just high loot bonus (which doesn't affect loot chests).

 

Not exactly just luck. You get better stuff from chests that havent been opened for a while. People go for 3s instead of 1s so you get better stuff from them 1s many times.
