    Hi Wynncraft community.

I'm gonna be as simple here as I can. Why don't I get XP gained most of the time after killing any mob? I know that you don't get XP from way lower level mobs but I'm killing things very close to my own level (53) and sometimes I get XP but most of the time I get 0. Just killed 8 mobs simultaneously and didn't get ANY XP.

I am presented this display after killing a level 65 mob.

    [+0 XP]
    [+0 Guild XP]

I know it's not a bug or anything but I would like to know why I get 0 XP most of the time and how I can fix it.

    I appreciate any reply,
    thanks, Valkynaz

Well, the chance of you gaining xp lowers each level the further away a mob is. Technically, killing a level 65 mob would give the same results as killing a level 20-35ish mob. Just kill mobs closer to your level, better if exactly your level.

I know this, but that's not my issue. The issue is that I'm gaining 0 sometimes, and 267 the other. I'd prefer 267 XP from ALL kills.

For every level between you and the mob there is a 3% chance you won't get any xp.
I find it nice to farm mobs around 5-7 levels above me.

Seeing as your level is 53 I'd farm at troms in the cave right before the stairs to the jungle village. You should get more consistent XP from it

The Dead Miner (I think you're talking about those) is over 10 levels above you, as a result it's just above the xp limit, I think.

It's actually around 79% for level sixty and 70% for 63. Anything above the level 63 would give no xp as there is a max of 10 levels difference between the mob and player before no xp is given.

Also I'd like to add that the 10 level max is a complete lie. It felt wrong, and I went and tested it today.
