No So Lucky Me, After All

Holy Tomatoes!! I was in the environs of Rodoroc. I was killing mobs as fast as I could drop Meteors on them. There I was, standing on top of an outcrop, too high up for the mobs to climb, but not too high to attract them by the dozens. Boom! Boom! Boom! My Meteors and direct strikes were clobbering the mobs. My XP was climbing! Then it happened. . . . . . . none of the mobs were moving. Was it a lag spike? Was I still connected to the servers? Oh, horror of horrors! I was disconnected! I tried to go back in. I couldn't connect to the server! I tried again, and again, and again! I changed server ips. I got a connection! I joined the same world that I had been in. Oh, NO!! My Crystal leggings were gone!! My Third Eye helm was gone!! Before I could even begin to scream "Blast you, lag spikes!" I looked down at the floor. There were emeralds on the floor? Could it be? Could I have gotten back on the server before the chunk unloaded?!?! What is that on the floor!!?? There!! It was a pair of leggings! It was my Crystals!! And there, on the floor, was the rare spear that I had! But where was my Third Eye?! Where did it go?! What's this?!! Could it be possible?! YES!! My Third Eye was in my inventory, were my rare spear had been!! Glory Be Oskies!! I had all of my armor and loot back!!

MineCraft and WynnCraft, lag is scary. Really scary. But sometimes, somehow, someone gets a little lucky. Today, it was ME!!

It may be the one and only time that lag held a chunk in memory just long enough for someone to return. Talk about adrenaline boosting!

 

This happens to me all the time, once i logged in and i had no skill points.

 

Skill points do not fall off of you, they merely refuse to represent. Armour and weapons fall away. They may, therefore, permanently disappear. However, the initial "What in the h3ll just happened?!?!?!" is most definitely the same.

 

Sometimes that happens and my stuff was in my inventory, but your inventory was probably full so your stuff went on the ground.

 

Its time to stop the staff not giving out refunds.

 

There is no way to do this, at present, because the server does not record everything that is going on every second of every hour of every day. Can you imagine just how much memory that would take? It's impossible.

I'm just incredibly lucky that I got back in, to the same server, before MC unloaded the chunk from memory.

 

That sort of stuff happens very often by me. (The name really works)

 

Yes, I've had to change the title. The Third Eye that I had for sale is the one that I found, still in my inventory. Even though I had open inventory slots, my 25LE, very near max stats Third Eye was gone. I didn't realize this until a short while ago. @Salted , I'm sorry to have to tag you, but this particle bug is still here. There is also another report, from another player, of this same type of bug, from today, on github.

 

Ive been having the same issue. For some reason whenever I log in my kaerynns mind, and boots of blue stone are in my inventory
