    Or you know, its simply corrupted, with no capital C, just regular ol' corruption, such as greed. It could be under the influence of a dark magician or evil demon.

    Do you seriously not understand? Wynn Corruption is evil nether magic. NETHER. Its specific necromancy. SPECIFIC. NECROMANCY.

    This corruption could well be the cause of a demon, A DIFFERENT evil. Its either decayed or plagued by a non-wynn corruption.

    Because, they clearly meant the type of corruption that is in Wynn. This mob is not undead, this mob is a creation of dark magic.

    So one is dark magic from the nether, and one is dark magic from a wizard probably tapping into magic from the nether realm?

    That's a different story. The POWER that comes from the nether isn't necessarily bad, as it can be harnessed by anyone. Even if it makes them insane, they can wield great power. Corruption is the effect of the Nether. Do you see undead mobs in quantities anywhere near Wynn's? Do you see any black spikes breaking through the Earth? Do you see any Nether-caused dark sky anywhere? Because I sure as hell don't.

    That's the work of a demon coming through from another dimension, whether it be the Nether or what, its NOT corruption. I don't see any undead mobs in/outside of that area.

    Edit: And Gavel doesn't have a huge gateway letting thousands, possibly millions of undead creatures to lurk about and slaughter everybody.

    In a recent video, igbar complained about decay just being a renamed corruption. It really is, which is sad, because I expected a different style of quests.
