Media Nirvana Or Weathered?

Just a quick poll/debate thread. You are welcome to explain your choice. Please no flame wars!

Weathered has speed so I like that

Also, Weathered has a higher DPS + it has neutral damage, meaning if you add powders you can get some extra damage with the x% neutral -> elemental
On top of that, weathered can get up to 20% extra air damage, which beats nirvana even more.

 

Just wanna say this, but uh, element conversion itself does not increase total damage, rather ids that allow you to boost your damage because you increase access to an element (air % damage) or the physical addition of element damage if you add powders.

 

Then why is my neutral damage reduced and my air damage increased more than the amount said on the powder?

 

That's what powders do.
They take neutral damage and covert it, and then add some

 

The powder in total adds more damage, but neutral conversion itself doesn't add anything, other than allowing access to ids that target element damage.

Personally, Weathered, it has a much more reliable damage output. While, the +int on Nirvana is cool, its a bit redundant. And also, Weathered does neutral damage while Nirvana does not. Just my opinion.

 

Normally, I'd choose the air option, but right now, the Weathered assassin is just quite overused. I tried it before and it was great, but I chose Nirvana because I feel that it would be more original and could definitely be worth using with its great spell damage buffs.

As of now, I think weathered is very good, but in terms of dmg/def they (with the right build) are pretty much equal. Just depends on which Element you like more.

exactly my point. Since weathered has neutral damage, we actually get some damage conversion, which mean weathered gets extra damage from powders than nivanna

 

Weathered. Nirvana shreds your melee damage, which lowers overall DPS output, has a lower DPS in general (700 compared to 1047). It also lowers your health, and while the extra intelligence is nice, a lot of it gets wasted with a raw spell damage build (which make up the only builds I've seen with it.)

Weathered, on the other hand, already deals mostly air damage, so powders aren't as necessary. Meanwhile, It gives extra air damage and speed, as well as dexterity. In addition, it naturally has the third highest DPS in the game.
