Nii Runes?

I want to farm Nii runes, but I can't find any Nii guardians near Lexdale even I wait for a few minutes.
Has their spawning point changed?

 

Unfortunately, Rune Guardians are very rare., I've only found 3. They mostly spawn in Dark Forest or CotL, there's no point in waiting at a certain location.

 

The reply above is wrong, they do spawn at specific locations (although I don't know where exactly), and those might've changed in 1.20. I found a lot around the river in the Light Forest.

 

There's a lot around visceral pits if you're willing to spend the time
