The high reqs sort of lock this into Brainwash (or Blue Mask I guess, but ew). I used the new Megabyte, and lowballed the estimate for Event Horizon's health - it could be higher. Insulated Plate Mail was practically required to get decent defenses.

No repercussions? I get that you mean the health in all, but at least -105% in every elemental defense is quite ridiculous and isn't something you can just straight up ignore. Even in the build you posted, if you step in a puddle you die (-500 water def), not too mention the elemental defense would most likely be even worse due to rolls. It requires you to either not use many items with raw defense (or try to cancel out the raw defense/-%) or to just get pretty good rolls in the defenses for it to be used properly in general. It's basically a reincarnated version of old gambler as a weapon when you think about it, except instead of raw defense slap it's raw hp slap.

Still, earth/thunder is known to be the glassiest of all dual elemental types, so it's no surprise that this type of weapon would be similar in design to that idea. I don't see it becoming popular because of it's superb glassy nature, but it's probably one of the better options (if not the best) for going the dual element that is earth/thunder for mage. Tbh, I would still prefer using just a pure thunder build over it (such as Judas), but that's just me.

P.S the rainbow one doesn't work (27 over maximum sp) and this might be better suited for class builds but eh.

 

Yeah, honestly I just can't think of a way to make this strong enough to be worth using... especially since you have to sacrifice all of your elemental defense and (unless you're going rainbow skill points) a lot of Def/Agi.

 

Why do wands always have the "space" theme?
