New To Guilds

Hey! i've been playing wynncraft for about 8 years on and off. I've never been in a guild so i wanted to see if i could perhaps get some help as to what guilds are useful for, what can i do in guilds, is there a reason as to be in a guild? I don't have any friends that play wynncraft so there havent been anything obvius as to why.

I would appriciate any form of help or guidance.
