well
we got two new themes
Full Moon (dark equivalent) and Journey (light equivalent)
as a dark theme user i'm going to be feedbacking on Full Moon

the only two problems i see right now:
1) the text is too light

this is how it looks right now
it feels very hard to read compared to Starry Night (save for the header text which is easier) because the text doesn't contrast the background

compare it to Starry Night (current dark theme)

imo if the text was white instead of the purple that would be good
also the purple color just looks weird, i'd like it to be closer to gray

2) why is this not consistent across both themes

(i'm talking about the logos)

anyways that's it

theres also a glitch when you click reply to a message it doesn't plop it down all the way to your message you have to scroll down.

 

It's also broken as fuck on mobile. The fancy menu just doesn't work

 

The fancy menu is glitchy and I really don't like how it follows you around. It takes up space, and the theme's text blends in with the background too much on it. Haven't tried light theme cause it hurts my eyes, but if it has the menu there's the same issue there.

 

seems there's a lot of weird, unexplainable things
like why is your background lighter than the rest of ours

 

That's on purpose, it's because he's a mod.

 

When i quote a post it doesnt bring me to the text box. Also i like that you can quote pics now. i remember it used to be like image[randomnumbers]


also pls fix the menu it messes everything up on mobile

 

It's more apparent on Journey, as the color becomes orange, and not just lighter.

 

The mod-light-thing would look good if the "messages" "likes recieved" etc was far brighter or darker but it just makes it harder to read

Tbh old dark theme is the best theme

 

On mobile scrolling down is stiff instead of loose like on the old themes. Makes scrolling down really annoying.
(loose vs stiff is when if you give it a flick if it keeps scrolling down or stops as soon as you let go)

I do not like the menu. At least on mobile. Can't comment or do anything at all because of the menu in the way and blocking everything or scrolling doesn't scroll all the way. When changing back in preferences it completely blocks out the save button keeping you from saving.

 

It feels sort of strange compared to what Starry Night did (leave it consistent with everyone).
Pretty sure most people should be able to notice the bright orange tag and say "oh, it's a mod".

But then again, awemanrank above said it was more light orange on Journey, so if it was changed to that here, that may make the Moderators' messages in threads stand out more.

The only two problems I see are that this is just a "reskin" of Hallowynn that reuses an old pic, and the text, as stated in the OP, is too light.

For the solutions to these problems, make new artwork for the background and make the text purple instead of just very light text.

 

when changing theme of journey, you can't see the options without hovering over them :^(
