New Relics?

In the 1.17 update, Relics were removed. They had little/no lore and were just powders, armour or weapons, most of which were nothing special.

However, I was recently thinking about how Grian said that Relics would be redone for the future, and I've been thinking that the Wynnic Translator (SPOILER:) which is gotten by finding the 15 secret discoveries and entering the little temple thing in Nivla forest (End of Spoilers), could be an example of a new relic, this could mean that there is gonna be a relic in each area once secret discoveries are added (like 1 for the desert area, 1 for the jungle, one for the frozen area etc.). That way, relics would be much cooler and they'd have to be "earned" to the extent that you'd need to have found the secret discoveries of that area first.

I was wondering if anyone shared the same idea as this or could prove it/disprove it as a possibility.

I mean if your definition of a relic is basically something that you find and that gives you stuffs then yeah sure i guess you could call it a relic.. but it really isnt... its just a secret discovery with a reward for finding all the other ones i guess

 

Thanks for the feedback! I was just trying to figure out what might be done with the relics in the future.
Tbh, I found powders kinda boring in terms of relics, mediocre armour and weapons were more interesting, but still not what I'd expect.

 

Yeah, I do think the concept of relics has a lot of potential, provided they are executed well

 

I enjoyed the concept, however, if they remake it, they have to make it so that it doesn't conflict with discoveries.

 

Maybe a dumb question, but where are these secret disc. anyway. Im having almost 80% or something discovered on one class and I don't even have found one secret discovery
