I'm not even sure what you mean by "decrypting" here. Usually decryption puzzles involve a bunch of jumbled code/text that requires one or more ciphers to convert the text into an actual message. This is just telling us something about a T-rex, which sounds more like a "guess the reference" styled puzzle versus a decryption puzzle. I'd keep that in mind if you plan to make more puzzles in the future.

To be completely honest, when I hear of a "black T-rex" as a clue I think of that random T-rex game that appears on Google Chrome if you're not connected to the internet. It's black, it's a T-rex, and it seems like the closest thing to an answer to this puzzle...

Okay, I did more random researching of "Google T-Rexes" and found out they have a personal T-Rex dinosaur outside their headquarters named "Stan". It's their original dinosaur so people think the game is a nod to the T-Rex they have there. It is also an actual fossil that was found near the Google premises.

Could this be the answer if it is related to the Google T-Rex offline game...?
