Tbh I just switched in Dark Shroud in a few builds where I thought it might work well. Probably could make much better examples of builds with Dark Shroud, but ofc I'm too lazy to actually attempt that until the actual patch comes out :P

It's a good way to make a more defensive build. It doesn't generally have powerful offensive uses though.

 

I just realized new darkshroud gives 65 sp

 

Now replace Capricorn with Virtuoso and we get

Did some messing around and the dark shroud can make so many existing builds more defensive, but without really losing much dps (losing 100~200 in meteor dmg or multihit dmg, etc isn't a lot)

My point here being that there's much better offensive options as far as the leggings themselves go, but it's gonna open up a lot more offensive options for other pieces of armor.
