Reaction/Discussion New Boss Altar Found! ( Again ) " Prison Of Souls " ( Almost All Info! )

Hey all! I'm back again, with another new Boss Altar!



I'm on my way to do Wynnexcavation Site B when I notice it's nametag underground!

Coords:

z = -479


How To Activate:

The Altar take 15 Ghostly Essence which is found by grinding the Howling Phantom mobs at House of Twain!

When you first get teleported, you end up in this cell, Cell #5: (Illegible).


You will then make your way down here:


That will lead you here to here! The Arena:

Unfortunately, at this point in time, the boss is impossible to defeat, unless of course this was a one time thing, (I'll test again don't worry), because he decided to spawn here, above the ceiling:

In Cell #6: Sotqin, you can sneak in through the iron bars and find an easter egg!

Sotqin seems to speak of Skien, (of Skien's Island obviously), as if he knows him somehow...

Thanks for working hard exploring and documenting cake, it really gives gms a chance to see how readily found their content is, helps debug, and lets players out of the beta get a feel on how to prepare

 

Bump! More info added! I'll be going back in to see if the same issue happens, if so we may need to wait longer for more information about the boss.

 

Inb4 Sotqin is the assassin who murdered Skien's army.
He sounds pretty unstable, sooo.

Do be sure to try again...if there is anything wrong, it is with the redstone. They are meant to drop from a cavity in the ceiling, activated as you walk into the room.

I have tried again and this time the ceiling opened up, but the mobs spawned outside the (seemingly 3x3x3?) room they're supposed to spawn in.

Also added a better picture of the arena!

They should not have done so...I tested it just earlier and it worked fine...terribly sorry. If I could trouble you to try again, to be absolutely sure?

 

It's all right, this is why we have beta after all, just let me know when an update fixing this is pushed and I'll be happy to go back and test some more!
